Students are permitted to take out as many library books as the grade they are in. For example, grade one children take out one book, while grade five children may take out up to 5 books. Kindergarten students are also allowed one book.

All books are due back the following cycle, so if your child has library on Day 1, the books will be due back on Day 1. Children who have taken out the maximum number of books allowed, will not be permitted to take out any other books until some or all of the books are returned.

Holds are encouraged! So if a student sees a book he wants to take out, but has already taken out his maximum allowable, he can ask for it to be held and it will be waiting for him on his next library day.
